Aura is a team of AI agents for Unreal and Unity that can help with almost every part of a project: editor manipulation, gameplay systems, art, debugging, testing, and QA. It’s a set of intelligences rather than a set of tools.
More importantly, Aura can verify its own work: it builds something, launches the game, tests it, and keeps iterating instead of stopping at “here’s some code.”
You can run it inside IDEs like Claude Code and Codex, so while they go deep on code, Aura handles the broader game dev loop around it.
Aura is also the first to offer free unlimited usage through Auto Mode, making agentic game development more accessible for everyone.
All paid plans come with unlimited usage through Auto Mode.
You also receive premium credit every month to use on frontier models (e.g. Claude Opus) for your most complex tasks. When you run out, you can switch to Auto Mode for free unlimited usage, or purchase overage premium credit (Pro and Ultimate tiers only).

Unreal Engine: Aura supports both Blueprints and C++ workflows. It can create and edit both Blueprints and C++ code. Aura can even run code reviews on your Blueprints for typos, hanging nodes, etc.
Unity: Aura supports C# (MonoBehaviour, ScriptableObject, and editor scripts) along with Unity's scene, asset, and prefab systems.
Unreal Engine: Windows — Unreal Engine 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, and 5.8. macOS (Apple Silicon) — Unreal Engine 5.7 and 5.8. Installed as a plugin at the engine level.
Unity: Windows and macOS (Apple Silicon). Compatible with Unity 2022.3 LTS and newer. Shipped as a standalone desktop app that bridges into the Unity Editor — no Python install or separate MCP setup required; everything ships inside the installer.
Aura may train on conversations and context you explicitly provide it during chats to improve accuracy. You can turn training off in the privacy settings, and it is off by default for enterprise users.
